Privacy & cookies
Updated
This page explains how INFIRALS handles information through its public website and launch notification forms, which services help us operate them, and how cookies and other browser storage are used. It also explains how to unsubscribe, change cookie preferences or request access, correction or deletion of your notification information.
You can browse public pages without subscribing to announcements or allowing optional notification memory. Email subscriptions and browser preferences are separate: clearing cookies does not unsubscribe your email. We do not currently install analytics or advertising cookies. Use the Cookie settings control on this page to review or change your optional-memory choice.
1. What this page covers
This page applies to the INFIRALS public website and the notification forms it provides. It does not describe a future Store checkout, xStudio service account or xSkills learning account. Those features have not launched on this website, and their privacy information will need to reflect their actual operation.
Third-party destinations, including creator channels and community platforms, have their own privacy notices. Information you provide directly to those services is handled under their policies.
2. Information collected through notification forms
When you request launch announcements, the notification service records the email address you submit, the time and version of your consent, and the status of your request. A request can be pending, confirmed or unsubscribed.
The service also maintains records needed to confirm your request, provide an unsubscribe option, remember an authorised browser session and limit repeated confirmation requests. Confirmation tokens and browser session identifiers are stored in hashed form in the subscriber database.
- Email address: used to send confirmation and requested launch announcements.
- Consent record: identifies when you requested updates and the consent wording version used.
- Subscription status: determines whether an address belongs on the confirmed announcement list.
- Verification and session records: support confirmation links, unsubscribe links and optional browser memory.
- Request timing and counts: help control repeated submissions and email sending.
3. How the information is used
Your notification request covers INFIRALS launch announcements, including Store, xStudio and xSkills. The email address is used to complete the confirmation process and manage your chosen subscription status.
We do not sell the subscriber list. Open and click tracking are not enabled for these application emails. Managing delivery, confirmation and unsubscribe status is separate from tracking whether you read an email.
- Send the confirmation email you requested.
- Record whether your request has been confirmed or cancelled.
- Provide launch announcements to confirmed subscribers when announcements are sent.
- Honour unsubscribe requests and invalidate associated remembered sessions.
- Protect the forms and service from automated abuse or excessive repeated requests.
4. Consent and email confirmation
Submitting the form does not immediately add your address to the confirmed announcement list. We send a confirmation email first. You must use the confirmation page and complete its confirmation action before the request becomes confirmed.
Confirmation links expire after 24 hours and are used once. Merely opening a confirmation link does not confirm the subscription. If you did not request an email, ignoring it leaves the request unconfirmed. You can also use the cancellation or unsubscribe option provided in the email.
5. Retention of notification records
Unconfirmed requests more than seven days past the expiry of their confirmation link are cleared during subsequent signup activity. This is activity-based cleanup, rather than a promise that every expired record is deleted at an exact scheduled time.
Confirmed subscription and unsubscribe records are retained to manage your choices until you request deletion. Unsubscribe status is used to keep an address out of the confirmed announcement list. Expired browser session records are also cleared during subsequent signup activity.
Cookie expiry, cancellation of a pending request, unsubscribe and deletion are different actions. Each affects a different part of the notification process. Contact us if you need clarification about a particular record.
6. Your choices and requests
You can stop launch announcements using the unsubscribe link in an email. To request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your notification request, contact official@infirals.in.
Explain the request and identify the email address used for the notification signup. We may need to confirm that a request relates to information you control before changing or disclosing it. Avoid including information that is unrelated to the request.
- Unsubscribe: stops announcements for the associated email address.
- Essential only: disables optional browser memory and clears the remembered signup on that browser.
- Forget on this browser: clears the remembered browser session without unsubscribing the email address.
- Access, correction or deletion request: contact the published email address so the relevant record can be reviewed.
7. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small value saved by a website in your browser. It can be used to recognise a preference or associate a browser visit with a saved session. It is not the same as a platform account or a record in a subscriber database.
A saved preference normally applies to the browser and device where it was chosen. Another browser, another device or a private browsing session may have its own preference. Deleting cookies can remove the saved choice and cause the notice to appear again.
8. Essential preference cookie
The infirals_preferences cookie records your cookie choice. It lets the website distinguish between optional notification memory being allowed and only essential storage being selected, so the same question does not need to be asked on every page.
This cookie is stored for up to 180 days, unless you clear it or save a replacement choice. It records the preference version and whether optional browser memory is allowed. It does not contain your notification email address.
- Name: infirals_preferences.
- Purpose: remember the cookie preference selected in this browser.
- Category: essential preference storage.
- Duration: up to 180 days.
- Contents: preference version and optional-memory choice.
9. Optional notification memory
If you allow optional cookies, infirals_notify can remember your notification signup across visits and notification forms. It contains a random session identifier rather than your email address. The notification service uses that identifier to look up the associated session and returns only a masked email to the form.
On the production website, the cookie is protected with HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax settings. It expires after up to 90 days and may be cleared or invalidated earlier when you change a preference, forget a browser session or unsubscribe.
- Name: infirals_notify.
- Purpose: remember the notification signup on this browser.
- Category: optional functional storage.
- Duration: up to 90 days.
- Contents: a random identifier, not a full email address.
- Permission: optional browser memory must be allowed before a notification session is remembered.
10. Accept, Essential only and Preferences
The cookie notice offers a direct choice and a more detailed settings view. Accept enables optional notification memory. Essential only keeps preference storage while disabling optional notification memory and clearing the remembered signup on the current browser.
Preferences opens a dialog where you can review the essential category and choose whether to remember a notification email. Save preferences applies the selection. Dismissing the notice closes it for the current visit and does not, by itself, save an affirmative optional-cookie choice.
- Accept: allows the browser to remember notification signup sessions.
- Essential only: saves the essential preference and removes optional notification memory from this browser.
- Preferences: lets you review and adjust the optional-memory choice.
- Cookie settings: reopens the preference dialog from this page after a choice has already been saved.
11. Browser memory and email subscriptions
Cookie choices do not determine whether an email address is subscribed. Email confirmation and unsubscribe are managed by the notification service. Browser memory simply helps the website recognise a previously requested signup on the current device.
Choosing Essential only or using Forget on this browser does not unsubscribe the associated email address. To stop launch announcements, use the unsubscribe link in an email. Equally, the expiry of a cookie does not remove a confirmed subscriber record.
- Clear browser memory when you want the device to stop remembering a signup.
- Unsubscribe when you want announcements to stop for an email address.
- Contact official@infirals.in if you want to request deletion of subscriber information.
12. Service providers and external destinations
Cloudflare hosts the notification service and its subscriber database. Resend delivers application emails. Vercel hosts the website. Cloudflare Turnstile checks notification requests to help reduce automated abuse.
These providers may process technical information needed to deliver, operate and secure their services. Turnstile may process browser and connection information as part of its checks. Provider processing is described in the relevant provider privacy notices.
If you follow a link to a social platform or activate third-party media, that service may receive connection information and apply its own privacy settings. Review the destination's notice if you want to understand how it handles accounts, media viewing or tracking.
13. Security and information minimisation
The notification workflow uses confirmation tokens, origin checks, request limits and Turnstile verification. Optional notification cookies use HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite settings on the production website. These controls support security without requiring a public platform account. Turnstile security checks are separate from your optional notification-memory choice.
Only provide information needed for your request. Notification forms do not require passwords, payment details or identity documents. If you believe a confirmation email was requested without your permission, do not confirm it. Use the email's cancellation option or contact us if you need assistance.
14. Analytics, advertising and third-party content
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and Vercel Speed Insights to measure website performance. These tools report traffic and performance statistics without installing analytics cookies. The cookie preference controls optional notification memory; it does not switch off these cookie-free measurements. We do not use advertising cookies or enable open and click tracking for notification emails.
Metrics can include the public page path, referral information, browser and device type, approximate country, and performance measurements. We remove query parameters and URL fragments from reported page URLs and exclude notification confirmation and unsubscribe pages. We do not send notification email addresses or confirmation tokens as custom analytics events.
External social links and third-party media operate under the destination provider's own privacy practices. Visiting a creator channel, joining Discord or activating external media may involve that provider's cookies or account settings. The INFIRALS preference dialog does not control cookies saved by a separate website.
15. Other local browser preferences
Some site features use local or session storage rather than cookies. For example, the website can save a motion preference locally and temporarily retain page geometry to keep a refresh visually consistent. These values serve interface behaviour and are separate from the subscriber database.
Clearing site data through your browser may also remove those interface values. A browser preference saved on one device should not be assumed to synchronise to another device or account.
16. Managing storage in your browser
You can use the Cookie settings control below to change the optional notification-memory choice. You can also use your browser's settings to review, block or delete website cookies and other site data.
Blocking all cookies may prevent the website from remembering your choice between visits. Private browsing modes and automatic site-data deletion can have a similar effect. You can still read public pages without using optional notification memory.
- Use this page's settings to change the INFIRALS optional-memory choice.
- Use browser settings to delete cookies or site data for this website.
- Make a separate choice on each browser or device where it is needed.
- Use the unsubscribe link in an email if you want to stop announcements, rather than relying on a browser-data reset.
17. Changes and contact
This page may be updated when website features, notification practices or browser storage change. The revision date above identifies the current published text. A future platform may require additional privacy information that is specific to its features.
